Alternative Oscars Ceremony at Welcome Hall

The final celebration came and everyone was dressed up in their most glamourous outfits for their moment on the red carpet.

The event culminated in a showcase of the most prestigious films to be made in Plymouth this decade and then the awards ceremony began …

There were three awards in total, one for ‘Creativity’, ‘Performance’ and ‘Informative Content’. Our Throwaway Culture won the

award for informative content, and the other two awards were picked up by the cast and crew of ‘Wrapped in Cotton Wool’.

The third film of the evening, although not winning any awards must be recognised as the most entertaining and so a box of chocolates was won for pure comedy value.
